Privacy Policy

Savio AI is a Chrome extension that helps you save prompts, manage context profiles, and inject them into ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, where it lives, and what we do with it.

The short version

• Local-first. Every prompt and context profile is saved on your device using chrome.storage.local. Nothing leaves your browser by default.
• No accounts required. The free tier works with zero sign-up.
• No telemetry. We do not track usage, page visits, or behavior inside the extension.
• Cloud sync is opt-in. Pro users may sign in to sync their library across devices. Their data is stored in our Supabase database, isolated per user via Row Level Security.

What data we collect

The extension stores the following on your device:

• Prompts you create (title, content, category, tags, usage count, timestamps).
• Context profiles you create (name, instructions, tone, style rules, timestamps).
• Local preferences (active context, settings).
• A flag indicating whether you have a Pro subscription, set by ExtensionPay.

If you upgrade to Pro and enable cloud sync, the same fields above are mirrored to our Supabase database, scoped to your authenticated account.

What data we do NOT collect

• The content of pages you visit on ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
• Replies or completions generated by those AI providers.
• Browser history, cookies, or activity outside the supported AI sites.
• Analytics, fingerprints, or behavioral telemetry of any kind.

Cloud sync (Pro)

Cloud sync is optional and only available to Pro subscribers. When enabled:

• You sign in with an email and password through Supabase Auth.
• Your prompts and context profiles are stored in our Supabase Postgres database.
• Row Level Security policies enforce that you can only read or write your own rows. Other users — and anyone using only the public anon key — cannot access your data.
• You can sign out, disable sync, or delete your account at any time from Settings.

Payment processing

Pro subscriptions are processed by ExtensionPay, which handles billing on our behalf. We do not see or store your full payment details. ExtensionPay may collect the minimum information required to process your subscription — see their privacy policy for details.

Third-party AI providers

When you inject a prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, that prompt is submitted directly to the provider you’re using. Savio AI does not act as a proxy and does not see those completions. Each provider has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle prompts you submit.

Permissions we request

• storage — saves your prompts and context profiles locally.
• activeTab, scripting, tabs — used only to inject prompts into the chat box on ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini when you click Inject.
• Host permissions for chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com — required for the inject feature.
• Host permissions for *.supabase.co and extensionpay.com — used only when you opt in to cloud sync or upgrade.

Data deletion

You can erase all local data anytime from Settings → Reset all data. Pro users can delete their cloud data by signing out and emailing us at hello@savioai.app to request account deletion. We honor deletion requests within 14 days.

Children

Savio AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will also be announced inside the extension.
