## How it works

Three steps from install to your first injected prompt:

1. **Save a prompt** — Hit Ctrl+Shift+Y and capture any instruction worth keeping. Tag it, categorize it, favorite it.

2. **Build a context** — Add reusable instructions, tone, and style rules once. Set it active and Savio prepends it automatically.

3. **Inject anywhere** — Click Inject. Your prompt drops into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, formatted and focused. Hit Enter.

## Animated demo

Savio's "See it work" section shows the inject flow visually: an Inject button on the popup pulses violet, a gradient path traces from the popup to a chat panel, and a chat input types out the prompt character-by-character with a blinking cursor. ## FAQ

**Q: Which AI tools does Savio support?**
A: ChatGPT (chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com), Claude (claude.ai), and Gemini (gemini.google.com). One-click inject works on all three out of the box.

**Q: Where are my prompts stored?**
A: Everything is saved locally first using chrome.storage.local. Free users stay 100% local — no servers, no telemetry, no account. Pro users can opt in to cloud sync via Supabase, with Row Level Security enforcing per-user isolation.

**Q: Do I need an account?**
A: No. The extension works fully without one. An account is only needed if you upgrade to Pro and want cloud sync across devices.

**Q: What happens if cloud sync fails?**
A: Nothing breaks. Local storage is always the source of truth — sync runs in the background and retries automatically. You'll see a small toast: "Saved locally. Cloud sync will retry."

**Q: Can I export my prompts?**
A: Yes — full JSON export and import are built in, free or Pro. Your data is always portable.

Savio AI is a Chrome extension that helps you save prompts, manage context profiles, and inject them into ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.

## Short version

- **Local-first.** Every prompt and context profile is saved on the user's device using chrome.storage.local. Nothing leaves the browser by default.
- **No accounts required.** The free tier works with zero signup.
- **No telemetry.** No usage tracking, no page-visit tracking, no behavioral data.
- **Cloud sync is opt-in.** Pro users may sign in to sync their library across devices. Their data is stored in our Supabase Postgres database, isolated per user via Row Level Security policies (`auth.uid() = user_id` on every table).

## What's collected (locally)

- Prompts: title, content, category, tags, usage count, timestamps.
- Context profiles: name, instructions, tone, style rules, timestamps.
- Local preferences (active context, settings).
- Pro subscription flag (set by ExtensionPay).

## What's collected (cloud, only if Pro + opted in)

The same fields above, mirrored to Supabase under the user's authenticated account.

## What's NOT collected

- Page contents on ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
- AI completions / replies.
- Browser history, cookies, or activity outside supported AI sites.
- Analytics, fingerprints, or behavioral telemetry.

## Permissions explained

- `storage` — saves prompts and context profiles locally.
- `activeTab`, `scripting`, `tabs` — used only to inject prompts into the chat box on supported AI sites when the user clicks Inject.
- Host permissions for `chatgpt.com`, `chat.openai.com`, `claude.ai`, `gemini.google.com` — required for the inject feature.
- Host permissions for `*.supabase.co` and `extensionpay.com` — only used when the user opts in to cloud sync or upgrades.

## Payment

Pro subscriptions are processed by ExtensionPay (which uses Stripe). Savio AI does not see or store full payment details.

## Third-party AI providers

When the user injects a prompt, that prompt is submitted directly to the AI provider they're using (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). Savio AI does not act as a proxy and does not see those completions.

## Data deletion

Users can erase all local data anytime from Settings → Reset all data. Pro users can delete their cloud data by signing out and emailing hello@savioai.app to request account deletion. Honored within 14 days.

## Children

Savio AI is not directed at children under 13.
